For plumbing, HVAC and electrical shops

You are under a sink. The phone rings. The next plumber gets the job.

This is an AI receptionist that answers the calls you miss, takes the job, and emails you a summary. It tells every caller it is an AI. We are new, and we say so below.

What happens on a call

It picks up when you cannot, and does the first five minutes of the job.

It answers only the calls you would have missed. Every caller hears, up front, that it is an AI assistant and that the call is not recorded.

Takes the job

Name, phone, address, what is wrong, and the day and time they want. Then it tells the caller they are on the schedule for that day and time, and that the office will call if that time does not work.

Answers what you tell it to

Your hours, your service area, the prices you want quoted, the work you do not do. If it does not know something, it does not guess. It says the office will confirm.

Takes messages

Supplier, inspector, a customer who just wants to talk to you. It writes it down and sends it on.

Flags emergencies

Burst pipe, flooding, sewage backup: it marks the call urgent for you. If someone smells gas, it tells them to leave the building and call 911 or the gas company from outside.

After each call

A short summary in your email within about a minute.

Who called, their number, what they need, and the day and time they asked for. This is an example from our demo company. Kestrel Creek Plumbing is made up, and so is the caller.

How you start

Three steps. Your number stays the same.

1

You send us the basics

We set it up from your website and a short email exchange: your services, the prices you want quoted, your hours and your service area.

2

You get a local number

It is your own number for the receptionist. Your customers keep calling the number they already have.

3

You turn on call forwarding

On your cell or office line, turn on "forward when busy / no answer". It is a carrier code and takes about two minutes. Now it only picks up the calls you would have missed.

Hear it first

Call the demo before you give us anything.

You will reach "Kestrel Creek Plumbing", a made-up plumbing company in Austin. Try a few things:

  • Tell it you have a leaky faucet.
  • Book a visit for Thursday.
  • Give it your phone number and see if it reads it back right.
  • Ask it if it is a robot.

Price

Free for 14 days. No card.

After that, two plans. Billed by the second: no rounding up, and no charge for ring time.

Starter: $99 a month

Includes 200 minutes.

Pro: $199 a month

Includes 600 minutes.

First 10 shops

The first 10 shops that stay on after the free 14 days pay $49 a month for their first three months, Starter minutes included. In return we ask for an honest review we can quote on this page, good or bad.

  • Extra minutes are $0.35 each.
  • Month to month. To cancel, reply to any email from us. It takes effect at the end of the month you are in.

What it will not do

The short list of things it does not do.

  • It does not make outbound calls.
  • It does not text your customers.
  • It does not record calls.
  • It does not plug into your scheduling software yet. Summaries come by email.
  • It does not make up prices, times or policies. If it does not know, the office confirms.

Questions

What owners usually ask.

Is it legal to use AI on my phone line?

We are not lawyers, so we cannot answer that for your shop. What we can tell you is what it does: it says it is an AI assistant at the start of every call, and it does not record.

Which states do you work in?

Right now Texas, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Virginia, Missouri, South Carolina, Kansas and Iowa. Some states have stricter rules about phone calls, so we add a state only after we have read its law.

Will callers hang up on a robot?

Some will. That is why it only takes calls you would have missed anyway. A caller who hangs up on it would have reached voicemail otherwise. The free trial shows you how it goes with your own callers.

Can it book into my calendar?

Not yet. It books the time the caller asks for and emails you. If that time does not work, the office calls them.

Does it speak Spanish?

Not yet. It works in English. We will offer Spanish once we have tested it on real calls, not before.

What if it gets something wrong?

It does not invent prices, times or policies. When it does not know, it says the office will confirm. You get a summary of every call, so you see what was said, and you can cancel any time.

Start

Try it for 14 days. If it is not for you, say so and walk away.

No forms. Send one email with your business name, website, trade, city, the email for call summaries, and the cell number calls should forward from.
